Busa Plastics was founded in November 1981 through the visionary leadership of Des Busa, previously the founder and owner of F & P Plastics. Mr Des Busa is currently a director and technical advisor to the business with more than 50 years experience in injection moulding and tool design.  Mr Brian Burman who has been with the company since 1989 is currently the managing director.

Production runs on a 24 hour basis, 5 days per week with moulds of exceptional quality being fabricated in-house by Busa’s World class Tool makers. Tamper-proof Caps and Closures are moulded and assembled on-site. Raw Materials are sourced locally and internationally with products being manufactured on a batch and continuous production system. Manufacturing best practices are applied to ensure consistency and continuity of supply. Busa Plastics is renowned for the quality and reliability of its products produced by a team of committed and highly-trained workforce. Busa Plastics has implemented a Total Quality Management System embracing all Operational departments in the business. A Food Safety Management program is included in the TQMS assuring clients that Busa Products are compliant with various Food Safety Standards, such as HACCP and ISO22000.The Company’s documented procedures and practices are subjected to both internal & external Audit scrutiny, and consistently meet the various prescribed Audit Standards, such as the YUM! STAR AUDIT. BUSA PLASTICS carries adequate stocks of finished products, thereby assuring our Customers of continuity of Supply. We have our own fleet of three delivery vehicles, with loading capacities ranging from   1 to 8 ton Payloads. We have the capacity to deliver finished goods to each of the nine provinces in South Africa, as well as dispatching goods to neighbouring SADC Countries.
